320 air box on 325?????

Guys, my 323i with later engine (not sure what year yet) has got a silly JR cone filter on it which I wanted to replace, my mate has given me an air box from his 320i motor but it looks a little smaller than i imagined and of the ones shown on realoem.com it looks the smaller of the two- is this going to suffocate my engine if I fit it being as it's from a smaller displacement engine??

The air box is the same for the 320 and 325, it's the AFM that's different.
