Hi All,
Can anyone tell me if there are/should be drain holes in the roof compartment? If so, where, so I can unblock 'em?
My '90 cabbie is collecting rain water in the compartment where the roof folders into. I presume it is leaking in through either the perished seals on the horse show, or down through the holes where the roof hinges from? It sloshes about whilst driving and gradually drains away down the inside of the wings just in front of the rear wheel arches and then drains through the sills!
Cabbie Question: water where the roof folds into.

Brilliant, cheers Ben. I'll have a root around over the weekend.

Just another pointer...
Mine had blocked drains on both sides, but the driver's side also had blocked outlets from the bottom of the rear window cavity into the sill drainage. The arrangement is pretty crap, water runs through the tiny drain hole in the horseshoe area, then dribbles down the inside of the rear arch/window cavity and then sits inside rotting your car, because leaf mould and crap blocks the exits.
The entire rear cavity, where the window mechanism lives, had about 5 litres of water sloshing about in it, this was getting into the rear floor pan and soaking the carpets.
I took the window out and cleared the drain holes - IIRC there are three of them, rear, centre and front, next to the rear of the door pillar.
Strange but the whole horseshoe arrangement is designed to let water in, pours off the rear side of the roof and into the joint gap between the horse and the upper side panel.
Hope you get it sorted.
