Was driving down the road earlier and my BBS cap decided to come off..

All 4 are fairly loose and i was just wondering if there was a way to repair these?

Yeh seems a good idea but mine are rattling when they are in the locked postion and when turned they will actually go past the locked postionlike a knackered thread/screw would do

The locking bits are shown in the link, and yours are worn or broken.
Cheap solution is a blob of silicon rubber in the mechanism before you fit them. They'll still undo with the proper tool.

And if you do decide to do the mod with the grub screws, drill the hole from the outer surface, not inside as in the link.

probably wont bother with the mod as it will be pointless as they turn past the locking point

Ok i have some mastic in the shed so will use a blob on each.... It seems a bit cowboy but it will do for now until i think of a permanant solution

I stuck some cardboard between the plastic locking cams. Stopped them rattling and it's held them on for 6 months 5k miles so far. Didn't want to glue/drill anything.
