Dear Zoners,

My electric windows have suddenly stopped working... I've checked the fuse and they all seem fine.. can anyone help?

I'm sure I can, but I'll need a bit more to go on than the above!
Do the switches light up? Is the overload cut out button pushed in?

It means there's no power reaching the window controls.
If the buttons aren't lighting both with the ignition on or a front door open with the ignition off, then pull out the cut out and check that either of the wires hasn't fallen off. The connectors to this aren't quite up to BMW's usual standards.

Should I check the window override button and its connection in the centre console?

What do I do if it's all connected but still no window function?

Thanks

Over ride button only affects the rear door windows.
If the connections haven't fallen off the switch, check for power between each of the wires to it and a good body earth (e.g., handbrake securing bolt) with a bulb. Ignition must be on, or a front door open.
