Hi all. My car is in for a complete suspension rebuild/parts replacement bushes etc.

I have already changed the all the shocks and drop links myself- was quoted £1k at first now saying get back to me should be a bit cheaper. In people's estimation what should this cost not using any extravagant parts?

And little adds that can help? I will also check the zone wiki.

Its easy enough to do yourself.... I had never done one before but i tried on my old E30 and the only tough bit it getting the bushes in

I went to my local tyre fitter and got some tyre soap from them and they popped in a treat!!

But a grand sounds like a lot of money

Uprated parts to use: E30 M3 eccentric front control arm bushes, E46 rear damper top mounts, and Mondeo estate rear anti roll bar links to replace the E30 front roll bar links.
Remember that it's essential that the lubricant used to fit the bushes to the front control arms must be of a type that ceases to be a lubricant after half an hour or so.
