Hi,

I'm currently restoring a 325 convertible, the one thing I'm struggling with is a carpet. I can't seem to find anyone that makes a new molded carpet for the convertible. My mechanic seems to think a good car upholsterer could fit a normal carpet. But having spoken to Munich legends they don't do that, they try and find a good second hand one.

Does anyone know a way go buying a new molded?

Does anyone have experience of a good upholsterer and do you have any pics of how it looks finished?

Thanks all

Martyn

Hi - i had the same issue with my Sport - in the end tracked down a good second hand one from an e30 Specialist breakers in Birmingham. Not ideal as i would have much preferred a new carpet to go with the restored body. James

Have you tried these? Might be worth asking if they do a convertible one

I had seen the ausi's and now not having found anything a little closer to home I've emailed them to see if they do one for the convertible

I'd still be interested to see any pics of so one what has used an upholsterer rather than a molded

Thanks
