Hello all,
Does anyone have any tips on how to prep the interior for paint, and any good suppliers of aerosol cans (with a guide of how many I may get through :) )

I was thinking of just scotchbriting everything with a red scotch pad, etch priming any bare metal areas (roll cage boxes etc.) and then laying down a few coats of colour.

Thanks in advance.

I used about 8 cans of colour matched aerosol base coat, scotch and panel wipe for prep, or gun wash thinners :D

Wow that's a lot more than I was expecting.
In that case, it will probably be easier to get the compressor out and buy a couple of litres of paint.

Wouldn't have really bothered spraying the inside but have popped a safety devices bolt in cage in and need to spray up the boxes etc.

How many coats did you put on Dan?

Cheers

Yep, aerosol paint is piss thin and gives poor coverage, at least 2 coats to cover the factory primer, maybe more, it was a while ago :)
