E9's are played out, but the only one I had was an Inca CSL. None of this 2800 nonsense :-)

I'd have an early E24, LHD 630CS in Granite red, 3 speed auto and the pale grey velours.

E9's a nice to look at, can be ok to drive but are generally rubbish and many have had a weldathon several times.

If you have to have something from that period an E3 or E12.
