So, how are the brexiters feeling about things now? Genuinely interested based on what's happened to date regarding the economy, bank interest rate slash etc.

Talking to one my neighbours who works in the city, he thinks if the 'passport' system which operates in the city goes, that's it, endsville. Due to the lunatic right in the tory party, it may be impossible to negotiate.
All the proud brexiteers will sure miss the tax income from our last remaining industry (finance) when it goes
Talk of a second referendum is a bad idea I think. If people were wrong three months ago, there's a good chance they still are now. Good sport watching them blame Mark Carney yesterday.
Before anyone says, FTSE's up, everything is great. Article 50 hasn't been triggered yet, it hasn't actually happened. A trade deal with Australia and St Kitts and Nevis isn't going to save us

Hopefully the English benefit scroungers will be forced to go to work for the first time in their lives to fill the empty positions that are available. Roll on Brexitmartauto wrote:Too right I am !!

Yes. I'll play with you:
History is the problem.
The angle touted by UKIP was to appeal to those concerned about immigrants changing our culture and stealing jobs, with particular venom aimed at Muslims. The fact is that immigration stems far more from the Commonwealth, which incidentally is home to 650 million Muslims.
Everyone was reasonably happy with the EU in the early days - although it was far too left-wing for those who preferred the fact that because the UK alone has never had a revolution and is still largely ruled in the 21st century by the Etonian aristocracy.
Nobody foresaw the collapse of the Soviet Union and the incorporation of an impoverished Eastern Europe into the EU.
There didn't seem to be many alternatives at the time - or indeed since. The UK alone was far too ready to allow these vast numbers of educated young rural people who knew the meaning of a hard day's work to displace their idle inner-city British counterparts who were at the time used to lavish social support.
Immigration is far from the main reason for the lack of good, well-paid jobs. Far more important are computerisation, robots and the offshoring of so many sectors.
It is ironic that people like Jacob Rees-Mogg have spent their lives in encouraging British investment into 'emerging markets' rather than in productive British jobs. He is very obviously working against the interests of British people.
It is dishonest to claim that there are any easy answers to our dilemma. The chances of an economy slightly bigger than Italy's has a great deal of hope on its own is very optimistic.
Yes, we were once a 'great trading nation', but that originated in raiding the Spanish booty which they in turn had stolen from the Aztecs and Incas, progressing through Mafia-style outfits like the East India Company, drugging China and similar unpleasant activities which wouldn't work today.
Most things in this country are foreign-owned, from energy companies, utilities and train companies to banks and our remaining manufacturing industries, with a few exceptions like JCB.
Finally, what is 'we'? Which community is most important to each of us? Our town or city, our county, our part of the United Kingdom, Great Britain, Europe (which we are inevitably part of) our species - humanity, or the world?
Westminster has done a good job of diminishing our communities and local democracy and now wants to do the same to our membership of the EU. It is all a matter of power and control by a small elite under the jingoistic guise of 'patriotism' .

It is a documented fact that the Welsh receive more in return from the EU than they actually contribute towards it, yet still voted to Brexit.
