Hi all

My ignition switch had died so I'm fitting a push start and ignition switch I had kicking about in the garage. The car is a track car anyway.

I have the majority of the wiring sussed but I'm slightly stumped by the small white connector with a grey and a grey/brown stripe wire.

I've done some searching about and can't find info on it, it's not mentioned on the wiring diagrams I have found so just wondering if I can leave it disconnected if it's something like the radio on signal for key pos 1?

Here is the little plug

Thanks in advance

Part of the parking light circuit, activated by the indicator switch.

Ah ok thanks both. Non essential then even for mot.

I will reconnect anyway though. As it was inside the ignition switch wiring cover I assumed it was wired to the switch also

It is wired to part of the ignition switch. Closed in position '0', and open in positions '1','2' and '3'.
