Before anyone says a engine swap I wanna keep the m20 as its a genuine 325 manual was thinking chip, big bore throttle body? Stainless exhaust looking for best bang for buck

a full and proper service would be the starter for 10. Unless you have evidence of a recent overhaul of the injectors this would also be on the list.

Thereafter a mild chip would be on my list.

Don't worry major service was first on my list in the middle of that now. Cleaning the injectors is this something you can do at home or best to send away? The mild chip is that one of the ones I have seen on here by speed touch?
Thanks for your reply

Indeed, the Mild chip I offer gives typical gains of 7-11bhp, significantly enhances the torque for driveability/improved fuel economy (expect at least an extra 2-3mpg average when driven sensibly) and eliminates flat spots, and also gives a 6,900rpm rev limit. An ideal blend for daily motoring, also works well with automatics.

It livens up the later low compression M20B25s quite nicely, and is well suited to Tourings.

its not so much the cleaning but more the balancing of them thats the art. check out the traders section and look up injector tune, not sure what the current charge is but he will properly overhaul them for about £10.00 each (don't quote me on that price).

Do you want to keep a M20, or a 2.5 M20?
The 2.5 can be stroked to 2.8 litre fairly cheaply, which is the way you'll get a significant increase in torque and power.

It's a 2.5 m20 I've got. I've looked into this stroking the motor is it a expensive process? Just a bit unsure about it as its a genuine 325 from factory
