Auto gearbox question

Something that has puzzled me is weather the m50/m52 engine swap into a e30 316/318 that started life as a auto? Can't find anything on that as part of the conversion back to manual here's tom

Tedswagon on here is doing an M52 into a facelift 316i auto. Less to do if you already have a touring, Cabby or 325i coupe or saloon - as they all have the 325i suspension and braking setup.

Ok thanks I'll check it out, for me it has to be a coupe with the added work as I'm not a fan of touring or cabby's.
