I've just ordered 4 replacement tyres for my 325 cab, but copying the tyre size from those on the car, I've ordered 205/50R15, whereas I see most go for 205/55R15 on a standard BBS wheel. Would there be much difference between the two?

Back behind an M20, but now I can hear it better.

205/55/15 is the CORRECT size.
Quite rare with limited choice unfortunately. Things have slightly improved recently though as one of new Audi's wears this size iirc.

I have 205/55 on my style 5 BBS 15".
IMO I think 205/50 might look better without being too mod, and may iron out some of the wallows ride on my 325 cab.
Did you manage to get these tyres, what's your opinion if you've got 50's?

Yup - got all corners fitted with 205/50 tyres and have to say I'm pleased with the result, but of course that may just be down to having new rubber and consistent tread type. Seems very stable at speed and handles well around the corners too. Cant say they look any different that other cars fitted with 205/55 - as someone said - naff all difference.
