There seem to be Toyo, Kumho and Hankook about, blackcircles.com have Yokohamas and Pneus Online have Yokohama Competition at £240 each! If you could go to 50 profile you would have a huge choice, but that may not help.

Yokohama AD08R, about £110 a corner available from camskill.
I have them on my M3 and they are epic on track and fine on road.
Also available in 205/50/16 so you can run them on a staggered set of Alpinas.
I don't rate T1R's at all.

Just to follow up, I found these guys the cheapest, quoting a 3 day delivery too

£260 for 4 tyres rated better than Miches can't be bad
Still would have bought Contis if I could have found some though

Stay away from Oponeo!! Worst company ever to deal with I ordered a set of tyres and only one tyre turned up! The second never turned up and the customer service is appalling. Their prices are very attractive but believe me I had the worst experience ever with these guys too 15 days for a refund. Google a few reviews and you will see what I mean. I ended up using camskill.

I've used Oponeo many times, and never had the slightest trouble with them. Tyreleader is the company of choice these days, though, although my last order (Rainsports), six weeks ago, took as long to get from Exeter to my house as it did from mid Germany to Exeter.

I did look at oponeo and noticed the stock problem, click the "ship in 48hrs" and nothing shows up as available!

They have, I think I bought one of the last sets for my white M3 last April as when I went to order some more for the silver M3 they were no longer listed.maggspower wrote:Looks like they have stopped making that size in the Contis
Glad in a way as it made me try the yoko AD08R's and they are MUCH better for fast road/track use.

Yes, looks like I'm on my last set of Sport Contacts in the right size for the Alpinasbss325i wrote:They have, I think I bought one of the last sets for my white M3 last April as when I went to order some more for the silver M3 they were no longer listed.maggspower wrote:Looks like they have stopped making that size in the Contis

The Yokos are obviously more to the sporty end of the spectrum, but I have heard nothing but good about the AD08r. I almost cant wait to get through the Contis

I loved the conti 2's and their successors and used them as a default tyre on many different turds so was gutted when they dropped the 225/45/16 i guess due to demand.maggspower wrote:Yes, looks like I'm on my last set of Sport Contacts in the right size for the Alpinasbss325i wrote:They have, I think I bought one of the last sets for my white M3 last April as when I went to order some more for the silver M3 they were no longer listed.maggspower wrote:Looks like they have stopped making that size in the Contis

Not may cars use that size, other than E30 M3's and 8J E30 Alpinas, the lotus elise is the only one that springs to mind.
