Hi All,
I'm looking to get a spare key as I've only got one at the moment, where's the best place to get one, or is it a case of getting it from the main dealer?
Cheers
Roy

I think that's for a cut one. Local dealer only as Cotswold won't do them post.
Don't buy blanks from Germany on ebay as they are too short!
(Like I did!).

Yep a cut one, you need to bring in ID, your v5 & utility bill to prove the car is yours._Dan_ wrote:A cut one ?

IIRC, there's a bit of an anomaly with BMW keys. I think that the version with the built in light is cheaper than the 'plain' version.

when i done mine , it was cheaper to buy a whole key than just the battery and insert for my old key.Brianmoooore wrote:IIRC, there's a bit of an anomaly with BMW keys. I think that the version with the built in light is cheaper than the 'plain' version.

I had one cut from Timpsons for around £10ish, they had to order it in though and it doesn't have the BMW logo - but fine for a spare
