finally got round to leaving some feedback (sorry!)
i needed someone who would look after my mini project of getting an alpina back to a good standard. the car was a bit tired and needed a subtle refresh and tidy up....i needed someone who knew what they were doing and honestly could not think of anyone better than barry.
his knowledge is phenomenal! he knew exactly what the car needed to get it working as it should and also knew exactly where to source the items, even the rarer alpine bits. every hose, clip, screw, washer that was replaced was OEM or better when required. his advice throughout the project was also very helpful such as deciding which extras were worth while and which were best left off. careful decisions were made which in the end added to the finished product. zero corners were cut!
in the end, i ended up with a finished car, ready to hit the road and pose in!
it has taken a long time to get off my butt and write feedback, but ultimately it is not a bad thing. i can report that the car is still going strong and has had no issues to speak of, thus speaking of the quality of the work gone into it. he doesn't fix E30s....he loves them!

I took my car to Barry for its inspection 2 and some mechanical repairs on the recommendation of members here. Despite doing this private work in his spare time (and being a busy man) he is very thorough noticing every detail! His passion and enthusiasm for these cars shows in his work.
