What gearbox is this ?

Is this an E30 or a E36 (M50) gearbox ?
Or does anyone know what specific gearbox this is? Bought it along with an M50 engine, but can't contact the previous owner.

& The only numbers i'm finding on the Bellhousing are :
220.0.0225.96
012 225
1222 223 9
None of these numbers find a decent match in RealOEM parts
