Just bought an old 2001 325i CI Sport in standard spec. Had an insurance quote of 677 quid. Im 42 with 8 years no claims.

Anyone recommend a cheaper company?

I usually start with confused and comparethe market, then try going direct with the cheapest well known provider.

I found axa pretty good last year - they have an excellent online system and you get an additional discount if you have a dashcam fitted.
