Make it clear before you order that you expect them to be of OE quality, and if they turn out not to be, march them back.
If you're prepared to accept tat, then people will produce and sell you tat.

Most places will 'approve' anything if there is a decent earner in it for themmagpie wrote:@ £180 A POP I F00KIN HOPE SORav335uk wrote:They are now "BMW Approved" wings Mick.

I've recently bought two new genuine wings for a car I'm restoring and they are fine.
Also bought genuine M3 wings within the last 12 months and they also fit fine.

lets say this is what i wanted to hear , this will mean a windows out lick over to avoid 50 shades of white .bss325i wrote:I've recently bought two new genuine wings for a car I'm restoring and they are fine.

i think my drivers wing is after market as the gap nearly closes at the front of the bonnet and it sits higher than the bonnet in places compared to the other side .

Mick i bought an aftermarket wing and i wish id got a bmw one because the curve on the driver side is a total joke
two inchs in it must be 9m lower than the bonnet and i dont think i can ever correct it,so i think if the bm approved dosnt work bung it back!it looks like your best shot.and buy the way the cabby door you sold me was spot on and thank you very much!

Thanks Barry. My front two are by no means terminal but replacing them seems a better option than a few minor repairs and repainting them. I'll be changing mine after the summer so it's good to know BMW's are worth the premium.bss325i wrote:I've recently bought two new genuine wings for a car I'm restoring and they are fine.
