Each to their own I suppose. Just because its rare doesn't mean its cool IMO.....M3 over that all day long. Also does the number plate imply the type of driver of such a weapon...??

I had one years ago, I think i kept it about 2 months, sold my M5 for it, big mistake...
Shit imo, fast, yes, but build quality was really bad, rattles, creaks and handling at 140mph was baaad, felt really light at the front end.
Glad I got shot of it.

Cool turds. I keep getting a hankering for replacing my old R5GTT, but the prices good ones are commanding is ridiculous. A chap over here has a Raider bought through 4 Star, it is rumoured he paid the thick end of £15k for it

I was offered a Phase 2 v6 about 5 years ago for £4k as the guy was leaving the island that day in some suspicious circumstances and desperate to sell. I still kick myself for not buying it.Pinchy_Larou wrote:I just fleabay searched the V6 clio thing Renault made.....only one on there 38K......and R5's go for strong money too!! When i worked ( briefly ) at Renault in the mid 90's there were still a few of these 21 turbo turds kicking around. One of the Renault techs had one and even he had to constantly fix it. They were shit then and i cant imagine age having imporved one. As with most Renaults the seats were comfy but that was about the only redeeming feature.
The 1st generation 19 16v was quite a nice car for the time - cant remember the last time i saw one though.

Much coolness, I'd happily pilot such vehicle. Better than an M3 in every measurable way

X5 V8 for thrills, CRV for chills, Range Rover P38 V8 for sooooo much aggravation...

I hate to agree with Ross, or Jesus for that matter, but I like these, R5's and other French delicacies.
