Can anybody confirm how many seals there are under the bonnet between the bonnet panel and engine bay? There is the large 3 metre U shaped one running from front to back round the bulkhead but the RealOEM parts diagram list another 1 metre seal used but does not show where it goes.
I have a spare 1 metre seal which may or may not belong to the E30 (garage clear out, don't ask!) but cannot figure where it goes - it doesn't sit correctly when positioned over the lip running just ahead of the radiator or right at the front of the bay. Photos of E30 engine bays online don't seem to show anything other than the main U shaped seal. Thanks in advance.
