Hi All,

Hope we are well? My 325i (Standard unmodified) seems to be very firm over bumps. The car handles well. I recall reading recently that someone had replaced all the suspension bushes. What are the symptoms of tired bushes? I have it on my mind that worn bushes would make the handling very skittery and unstable (which mine isn't), but I'm wondering if worn bushes can sort of harden up and cause this crashy ride?

I recall recently someone saying it was like night and day with renewed bushes all round (though i cant recall in what context - handling or smoothness - or both!) I once had a car that had been fitted with poly bushes and i hated it, if i do replace the bushes it will be with standard ones (if still available, I'm hoping they are)

Thanks in advance

Kind Regards

Russell.

My suspension bushes are currently being replaced as they appeared to be the originals and were perished/worn. I should be getting the car back in the next few days and have been told this should completely transform the ride. I'll let you know what its like.
