Don't think I can drill it out as the housing is plastic.
...and my advice for anyone doing this is WD40 the screws and leave for 5 minutes before unscrewing...did this on the other lens and had no problem.

While replacing the lens on my 1989 325i Cab. everything was so corroded the screws holding the lens into the housing sheared off in the housing. anyone got any ideas on how to get round this...other than take bumper valance etc off and buy a new housing.
