Hi Guys
I am looking to buy a jack that will give me good height. I have a Rac cheapy one which is great but cant get much height out of it. Any recommendations on what ones out there that dont cost alot?

Bought a great 3 tonne Jack with 4 Axle stands from SGS. It's taken a load of abuse over the last year and it's still perfect.

If I was to buy another, I would probably go for the 2 tonne ultra low entry model. The 3 tonne is overkill.

They do great deals with axle stands etc

This is the one that I've been looking at recently.
Its low entry, has a good max saddle height and has a quick lift mechanism as well.
The only negative I can think of is that is probably quite heavy.

That actually looks pretty good.the fact that i only probably need to use it 3 or 4 times a year to service 2 cars the weight wont be a major issue.....cheers for that Cormo13

I bought one of these - http://www.costco.co.uk/view/p/arcan-20 ... 0eu-900930
Only issue is it may struggle with super low cars, but I've been pretty pleased with it over the last couple of years

Great jack, I have 2. Won't get under a pre facelift cabby on eibach springs though. Highly recommended.JungleGus wrote:I bought one of these - http://www.costco.co.uk/view/p/arcan-20 ... 0eu-900930

Mines similar but the blue one from machine mart. Was fine until I lifted a ml merc and twisted a castor and all the ball bearings rolled over the floor but it still worked!!!Topblag wrote:Great jack, I have 2.
