get the bottom end re balanced with that new flywheel.
I've got the exact same flywheel to fit next week to my M5, should be a nice improvement over my noisey dual mass.

That flywheel will be great, where did you get it from?
I have one on an S50B32, feels like an extra 50 horses on the arse dyno

Hay there Tom, it looks like a TTV one, check out the ones from UUC, USA. I have experienced major customer service problems with TTV.

I got mine from David Olias, its going on this weekend along with a 3.6 clutch i'm hoping it should be a nice improvement

The flywheel is a TTV for a S38B36 rather than that dull mass beast! Have you fitted yours Simon? Did you use the standard 3.6 clutch? I was thinking of getting the sport one but haven't decided yet. I had the harmonic damper balanced alone.... I will be removing the engine in the winter for some upgrades so I'll balance the bottom end later

yes i've just got a standard sach 3.6 clutch along with the bolts and flywheel bolts as its all different lengths to 3.8 stuff.
My Dual mass has got noisey, i'm hopefully getting it done on Saturday with a bit of help from Barry, can't wait!

Yea I got the shorted bolts from BMW for a silly price lol I'm looking forward to hearing about how it it feels to have a very responsive S38 its going to be bonkers

Whaat,,,, the DM flywheel is well known for being silence .. vs the SM +rattle clutch
