hi i have done the m52 swap when the car is cold its spot on but when its warm and i drive unto lights slow down then put my foot on the clutch it will hunt and sometimes stall. i presume its the icv i have cleaned it out and its the same, is there a way of testing it before i fork out £160 on a new one.

You can check the resistance of it to check it out electrically using a multi meter. Is it a 3 pin one? If so put one lead on the centre connection then put the other lead on one other connection then onto the other, should measure roughly 17-20ohms. I would have a good look for a vaccum leak too.
