Immobiliser plug from the OBC and/or another immobiliser.
Plugs into a white socket with two plain green wires, which, if your car runs, must be currently shorted across. Correct shorting link is a plug the same as you have found, fitted with a short loop of green wire.

Brilliant thanks Brian, now you mention it I remember this from last time....i think...memory a bit hazy these days !

On the Cruise loom, same location there is a single blue wire, not sure where this goes either, just looking at the wiring diagrams now

Cheers again

Edit: Sorry it's blue with red stripe

Looks like it might be the "auto only relay"

?

Blue is road speed signal from the green socket on the speedo. Most of the pins are the same signal.

In the top picture the wire is the cut out for automatics. Not required on a manual.

In the bottom picture the earth should have another plug to connect that one to with a brass ring to attach it to the earth point at the other end.

Fab, thanks very much Ben.

I don't seem to have the additional brown connection piece so i'll change the plug for a ring connector, should be enough length in it.

Cheers mate
