Google is your friend.
Looks like he's known on the E28 forums, and it's likely that the badge is no more than marketing/advertising.

Its just a dealership badge, you from OZ? In the UK they normally put a sticker on the rear window.

No, we don't need pic bud, we have our own uninteresting dealer stickers and badges here. You only have to google it to see one.

I'm not sure why this is so important to you. the car came from BMW, the dealership put an advertising sticker/badge on it, its not worth anything and doesn't make the car better.

that's just the thing I have only found 1 article and only found one other John Ould badged e30 but it was a mtech 1 and the badge was on the left hand side not the right hand side were mine is? I relies its worth nothing but its a great conversation piece considering he had a lot to do with the Bathurst "jps " bmws and other racing which Bathurst is a big thing hear in Australia believe it or not. also not many have heard of it or seen the badge. he also modified the cars that he sold and kept for his own collection hence why mine had a phew goodies.

What goodies does it have. I think you will find there isn't much info because it is just an advertising badge. I may be wrong but this forum is full of people with some serious bmw knowledge and no one has taken an interest.

It's just a badge. The other was on the left because it's just a badge applied before sale. I wouldn't get too excited. Especially if Google isn't revealing that a John Ould e30 is Australia's answer to Alpina

It seems John Ould was a dealership owner (both Renault and BMW) but also did some racing. The badges applied to cars would just of been a marketing tool as Brian suggested.

I was told he had a bit to do with the jps by my mate who owns a bmw workshop. its dealership fitted sports suspension, dealership 15" basket weves, power steering rpm sensitive, sunroof, air con, pop out rear windows(was an option) ,rear bench in fabric, cassette holders, rear spoiler delete digital clock overhead check lights, sports exhaust. while were on the subject what was:
-radio preparation
-additional export tank filling
-additional turn indicator lamp
-sichpacket (code-S359A)
-BMW LM Rad Sternspeiche 69 (code-S311A)???????

You are getting a bit hung up over a badge and some ticked options on the spec sheet

you's are saying its nothing special and people don't give two shits about it
all I want to know is if anyone knows anything about him, his racing, if anyone's got one, if he has a connection to "Seaton motors or Glenn Seaton's racing career as that was the second dealership it went to".

Think you are getting the wrong end of the stick. I've not called it a shit heap, I've not said we don't give two shits about it and I've not said its nothing special since we haven't seen the car.

If that's your takeaway from this, so be it. Apparently "it's just a badge" is Australian for your car is a pile of shit :?

There is a guide in the for sale section. You will require a photo storing account on something like photobucket

You need to upload them to an image hosting website, then copy the URL(link) and use the IMG option before and after the link.
