It can and has been done but involves fitting an early front valance and associated parts and some bracketry bodging at the rear and then the small matter of finding and paying for a decent pair of chrome bumpers !

Or is it better to just take mine off and have mine chromed only thing then is the windows and sides rubbers
I'm changing the colour as part of the project but I want the colour techno violet to have chrome keep it classy, thanks for the advice so far

Good luck chroming plastic.

The front is easy enough to do. As Pete said, you will need a prefacelift valance, prefacelift bumper brackets and prefacelift fog lights. The rear isn't so easy and will require some creativity.

The remaining window trims/gutter trims/window seals are easily replaceable if you have shadow line.

I would suggest leaving the plastic bumpers on. Not sure chrome and techno violet will work too well together and it will look like a bastardised turd.

Bastardised turd hahaha love it!

Think I might just leave it original (bumpers) and have her painted not sure what colour to go for just had a vision of techno violet as I've always wanted a BMW in that colour the original colour is sterling silver which is really nice aswell we will see what happens, many thanks to everyone.

Technoviolet looks good on e30's. I like it when combined with a tech 2 kit. There were a few run out specials done in it
