My intensive cleaning is not working, nothing happens if I
push the button on the right hand stalk. It's not the motor
as it works if I swap the connectors over with the std wash.
Any ideas as what it could be?

Intensive wash motor is controlled directly by the button on the wiper stalk, so, if all the wiring is intact, it's the wiper stalk that's the problem.
Find the plug and socket for the wiper switch, which should be clipped to the steering column, half way down, and earth the brown/grey wire on pin 5. This should make the pump run if the ignition switch is in position 1.
