There's an F plate, Dolphin Grey 4 door manual 325i for sale on the side of the road just round the corner from me.
It's got bottletops, a towbar (whooo!) electric sunroof and windows, two new unpainted wings fitted, an OBC (Yay!) and currently reads as 136k on the clock.
No info as yet, going to ring him tonight, but it's up at Ԛ£170 as it stands, so might be able to get it for a bit less.
Shall I get it? I was thinking it would prove to be a likely donor of it's running gear for my track car...

At that price id buy it and just clean it up and see what you could get for it lol.Or you could use the bits you want, and sell the rest and make a hell of a lot more from panels, doors, interior, electrics etc.
Go for it

That's what I thought. Just a matter of convincing the 'better' half that it's a good idea that we have a 3rd E30 sat on the patio area while it get's stripped...
Have to wait and see a) what the guy selling it says when I ring him later and b) what Gemma says about it... she kinda seemed okay on the phone just now, but I didn't mention the 'sitting on the patio' thing to her...
See how it runs first... if it's a dog, I'll steer clear of it.
Giles.

Update: Just phoned him. Nice sounding, well educated young man...
No MOT. No Tax. Needs servicing. Needs 3 bits of welding. Needs rear brake shoes.
Going to see it on Sunday during the day to see how it runs/sounds. He reckons it's sweet, but we shall see.
Ԛ£100 and no more for me...

Nice.Dosnt sound THAT bad.Obviously it needs to be running ok, otherwise it would end up being to much hassel to buy it and then not be able to do anything with the lump etc.But if its all ok, id deffinatly go for it.Use what you need mate, then just flog the rest on here, could easily make a few hundred from unwanted panels etc.
Only thing is, i doubt the misses would see our enthusiasm
for buying another old banger!!
