I bought a very cheap and rusty convertable which looks nice now after 2 years of graft!but theres no gear box shield on or under should i say the auto box?,leaving it exposed unlike my other e30s,i have looked on real oem and google pictures but i cant see any,the other head scratching is the drivers door was toast so magpie supplyed me with a replacement(thank you magpie
)but a couple of nights ago now its painted and polished when i put the window and mechanism in i noticed that it doesnt have the stop for the window adjustment like the old door,do i need to worry that the window wont stop raising?,or should i drill out the spot welds and transfer the stop to new door.
