Owing to old shoulder injury (long story) I'm finding the gearbox on the cabby a little more of a chore each year..the gear box is fine its me thats getting wiser!

Im not selling here as i love her to much, but an auto would make driving her a good deal easier (daily is an auto).

She is a facelift M20 B20 with a 4.10 diff.

Im going to need the autobox, but what else?,,will i also need to change the diff?

I have read of many auto to manual conversion, but none the other round..if some one is looking to do a conversion on an m20 please pm me i may be interested in taking the parts off your hands.

Thanks in advance

Diff. will be close enough.
You'll need auto box, auto 'flywheel', torque convertor, gear shift assembly inc. bits for the front console, propshaft, gearbox cross member, gearbox mount rubbers, exhaust front bracket, kickdown cable, kickdown spring stop for under throttle pedal, starter inhibitor relay and loom and bracket to support the dipstick tube.
Clutch pedal, reservoir, and master cylinder will need to be removed, and the bulkhead hole blocked. Brake pedal should be replaced by the wider version for a complete job, but you can manage with the manual one.

Yes, knew I'd missed something!
You'll need a rad. with the built in heat exchanger, plus the pipes back to the autobox, and the securing bracket for them.
It's small parts like this bracket that you need to be sure to get. Sourcing them separately will be a pain.
