Hi,

Hope somebody can shine some light on my brake issue?

The car(e30 325i, M50) lock up the rears when on track, or just when braking hard to be honest. I looked in the e30 zone wiki and it says there is a pressure valve for the rear brakes under the master cylinder. On my car, there is only the master cylinder, no pressure valve. So I guess that's why it's locking up the rears?

I think fitting a brake balance adjuster for the rear to sort it out. Can do that inside the car. Here is the issue, the fittings on the adjuster is 3/8" and my brake lines are 6mm lines. Will the 6mm lines fit the 3/8" fitting?

What adjuster are people using, do like if it's a nice one, but don't need a f1 spec adjuster if you follow me?

Of course, I wrote it wrong. But I guess standard size brake line is 6mm and that is normally a 10mm thread fitting, a 3/8" is fine with 6mm brake line?

Brake tube is 3/16", 4.76mm. The same tube is used on both imperial and metric cars, with the appropriate ends, so there is no problem with fitting imperial ends onto 'metric' pipe.
The metric and imperial fittings are very similar in appearance, and on the odd occasion, I've made up a pipe with the wrong fitting, only discovering my mistake when attempting to fit the pipe.
