Got a oil leak coming from between the gearbox bell housing and engine block.

It only seams to start when the car has stopped after a run,
It's a constant drip, one every second or so then it slows.

I'm thinking it's the rear seal of the sump and it starts drippng as the oil drains back down.

Has anyone had similar?

Any advice would be most appriciated.

I had a sump gasket go on mine near the rear.I part fixed mine with a piece of gasket sheet and some instant gasket paste after dropping the sump down a inch or 2.It took a couple of hours and has been leak free for over a year now 8)

Only way to see whether it's sump gasket or crank seal is to take off the alloy piece that covers the rear of the sump and joins to the bell housing and to have a look.
