Hey all,
Another brake question from across the pond. I've thoroughly flushed the brake lines and bled all the air out the system, as far as I can tell. While the pedal feel did improve, it still doesn't have that solid feel like my e46 M3. And maybe the e30 braking system will never get to that point, but I really want to replace the MC for peace of mind.

In doing research for parts available on this side of the pond, it seems the ATE MC were only available on cars mfg up to 5/87. With the Girling MC used after that. My Touring is a 90, but I can visually see that it's an ATE MC.

My question is, what MC do I use? Is that part specific to the Touring? In which case, I probably can't get that in the US. Or could I assume (probably not) that the Girling MC would fit?

The OEM MC in the States is crazy expensive. But there are several aftermarket alternatives. In the event I had to order one from the UK, are there similar aftermarket alternatives to the expensive OEM ones?

Thanks!

It's a 2.5 liter and it's actually a RHD as it was just imported to the States from the UK.

Thanks for the link! They pointed me to one made by Pagid...
