Going to start doing a few track days in my e30, looking for a good set of coilovers to raise the car (currently has about an 80mm drop on springs winkeye )

Want something that's height adjustable (hence coilovers) but not nessecerily damper adjust and the rest. Don't want to spend loads but can anyone recommend an above budget system that isn't going to break and get knackered on track. Ideally between £250-500. Don't mind second hand bits if anyone has anything.

FK are height adjustable only and use Koni inserts. Probably the best quality you'll get new for that sort of money but I'd also imagine they are quite street focussed. Might be a bit soft to get the best out of the car.

Okay thanks, il have a look into some FK's. Not looking for ultimate performance as I certainly can't drive well enough to require that but like I said something above budget and adjustable! Cheers!

I suppose an added benefit is if they take Konis, you should be able to upgrade to single or double adjustable inserts in the future and upgrade the spring rates - if budget suits.

i've used FK's koenniggsport coilovers in the past,

as motorhole says they use koni inserts (shorter mk2 golf inserts IIRC) so can be replaced easily enough,

also if you want to change the springs get them from Faulkner's, just choose your weight & free length.

as for upgrading the inserts there are plenty out there to choose from & they can be serviced by plenty of places, just search koni service centre to find one.
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.
getting oral sex off an ugly person is like rock climbing.....don't look down ;)

Would've said Euro Performance but it looks like they might've gone under? Website is offline. Might take a bit of effort to track down but surely the coilovers still exist?

Yeah can't find them! Looked through everything I could from Google... I guess I just need to wait for someone breaking a track project or wait for next month and get something that will be the nuts!
