Hello,
I found a 3.91 diff for my 325i.
There is a resistor in the principal tulip, when it is turned slowly.
I feel some notches.

Have you ever noticed that?

Thank you.

(Sorry for my english, i'm french).

Could that be the effect of a limited slip differential? (DIFFERENTIEL A GLISSEMENT LIMITE) Is it a Sport model?

Thank you,
Yes I opened the diff to inspect the pinion and the crown, everything is ok.
I will install the differential on the car hoping it does not whine.
