Can anyone recommend where I can get these without paying silly money? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-M50-B25-E ... SwDNdVy0C7

Cheers

Tried BMW? No idea what they cost there, but I've seen many parts on ebay at much higher prices than direct from BMW.

I'll try Cotswolds in the morning, but spoke with a few motor factors and their prices were even higher than that eBay price.

Cheers though Brian - will report back once I've spoke with Cotswolds.

Try this, http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from= ... w&_sacat=0

You can buy a quality set from the states for about £27 if you scroll down

Cheers Dan - I'm off to America tomorrow so will get them sent to my hotel.

Thanks again.

100% sure that you can get one cheaper than that from the dealers.

The ebay "trader" you have liked to is a bit of a scamming chancer that pulls apart BMW stuff and charges astronomical prices for each and every component.
Often the stuff he is selling is useless without its mating part (like crown wheels without pinions or used timing chains without matched sprockets) or is otherwise useless scrap, like used diff crush washers. :?

A used drain plug washer anyone?

Trouble is these tossers are buying up perfectly good used engines/boxes and all the new spares to strip and try to sell in single component form.

Just bought M50 manifold gaskets from Mr Auto - about £5 something each iirc, of Elring flavour. Cheaper options are available if you're not bothered about an OEM equivalent.
