Just spent an afternoon in the piddling rain fitting my new front pipe but it was worth it!
Car now sounds sweet!
Unfortunately 2 exhaust studs were snapped (not by me!)
I suppose it's a head off job to sort them?
Next up, fit my new heater blower!
Always summat to do with this old cars!
Just fitted my new front exhaust pipe, that's better!

If you mean the manifold studs there is a way to drill them out in situ but you will need a Right angle drill and alot of patience!M3KUK wrote:Just spent an afternoon in the piddling rain fitting my new front pipe but it was worth it!

Basically it is possible and worth trying first and use the head off option as a last resort..
In some ways freshening up things with a head off might actually be a good thing!
Good luck

Yes it is the manifold studs that are broken off.
It seems ok for now so I'll leave it.
