Just spent an afternoon in the piddling rain fitting my new front pipe but it was worth it!
Car now sounds sweet!
Unfortunately 2 exhaust studs were snapped (not by me!)
I suppose it's a head off job to sort them?
Next up, fit my new heater blower!
Always summat to do with this old cars!

If you mean the manifold studs there is a way to drill them out in situ but you will need a Right angle drill and alot of patience! :mad:

Basically it is possible and worth trying first and use the head off option as a last resort..

In some ways freshening up things with a head off might actually be a good thing! 8)

Yes it is the manifold studs that are broken off.
It seems ok for now so I'll leave it.
