Yes. That's a sport any day of the week.

Car looked a stunner, will be very difficult to get another like for like so you really do need to squeeze as much as you can from the insurance. It looks like a sport, was optioned like a sport so it's a sport and therefore you must send in prices of E30 325i sport's.

Well, that's about the best you could hope for, I suppose. At least it's not been torched.
Been down this road many years ago - car found about a week later, just off of the M2, about twenty miles away, partly stripped. Not quite as bad as yours though, as it looked like whoever had taken it ad been disturbed while stripping it.
Push your insurance for every penny you can get, and rebuild.

Keep an eye out on ebay etc the bits may end up popping up for sale. If the parts have some specific blemishes that can help you recognise it.

Your pretty lucky its been found although not complete. I would be listing a few wanted adds up for m-tech 2 kit as you just never know the vermin who has it might just offer it to you.

I know what I would do if I get hold of the scum :shoot1:

Maybe check out the wanted sections to see if anyone local has been asking for one.

That one in the link is great for the money, you can wire it in to an immobiliser circuit and text your car to cut it out :)
