Hi
Can anyone tell me what the stock ignition timing is at idle for an m20b25.
I am running a vernier cam pulley, and I want to check I have set it correctly. Presumably I can use a timing strobe on spark lead for cylinder 1?
Cheers
Jim

Hi
Yeah, realise my mistake now - ignition timing is from crank sensor, so using a strobe isn't going to tell me anything about my cam timing.
Cheers

if you set the cam timing advance retard to zero it should be the same as the OEM gear provided youve bought a quality unit with the pin in the right spot. then you adjust advance or retard. note that advancing the timing puts the inlet valve closer to the piston so tread carefully.
