Hi guys i was just wondering if there is anybody that would be keen on renting a lockup with me.
It is all secure and in a nice area.
Indoor storage for 8+ cars.
It has a ramp and a pit.
It also has its own spray booth.
There is also reserved parking outside.
I was looking for a lockup for a couple cars where i could go and work on my babys over the weekends or store a few cars for bits etc.
This one is ideal but it a bit to much money for a hobby,Ԛ£200 a week with all bills but if we could split it 4 ways it would work out very cheap.
If anybody is interested pm me i dont want any fly by nights and you must be into your BMW dont care what series.
Or if i do go for it on my own would there be a demand for the renting of ramp space for guys to work on there cars for the afternoon etc or storeing a few cars to make up rent.
The garage/lockup is in the Manchester area.
Cheers

I am a joiner by Trade so i would not have a clue plus i have a full time job.
I did not know the spec of the place until i rang up,its a bit to big and expensive for my needs but if there is a 4 way split it could work out a treat.
Even a couple of e30 for parts or old 6s,ideal for spending a couple of hours after work nice light and very warm.
You also wont be jamming up your driveway and those that dont have a carport or garage can keep the projects save and dry.
Cheers

Its towards the bolton side of Manchester i dont really want to let the cat out of the hat just yet.
Its a classy place not a bussiness park or mill.
I need to know soon as i dont think this type of storage unit will be around for long.
The guy that owns it said he would gladly show me or anybody that wants to have a look with me the building.
Cheers

I dont want to run a bussiness, just a few guys messing with there cars on the weekends or after work etc.
If you can make use of the pit and the ramp and the spray booth even better i will
well the ramp anyway.

just rub it in wont ya, but seriously good luck mate, its a bargain for that price, down here you would probably double that for a place like that. my mate has a unit, 1 car space and a ramp and 1 car space outside for Ԛ£100 a week.

Sounds like a good idea mate! But will you find 4+ guys who you can guarantee will stump up Ԛ£50 a week, week in week out? If you have to sign a lease for a minimum rental it will probably be in your name only and if someone drops out, you are stuck with paying.
Would be ideal if you could work out the details.
What about starting a sort of "North West e30 zone club." If you can get 15-20 members together it makes it affordable for most people and you have got more brains "on the job" for the benefit of the less technically minded (like me).
Think you need to find out the exact terms of the rental and factor in heating and lighting costs. Once you have got more accurate info. you have more chance of recruiting "partners."
Don't want to say yes or no on this amount of detail, but would be interested in the idea.
Anyone else around Gtr. Manchester interested? Seems a pity to waste the opportunity.

Like you say it would one hell of a waste as you know what its like to find useable space in the uk at the moment.
Plus like you said you dont want any D1CKS getting involved and then i am left to carry the can,but all the same it would be nice if i could pull it off.
So come on guys get your thinking caps on.
Cheers
