Installed the m52 in my e30. Was running sweet until yesterday. Its got a slight misfire , i tested the coilpack with other ones ive got and still same issue. I opened the radiator top and started the car to see if the water wasnt pushed out by pressure of the engine. Just check if the headgasket is still ok.
Can anyone give me a few pointers and common known faults reg misfire. All pipe work is still on, so i dont know. Any help would be appreciated

Damn just seen it on youtube.
my headgasket is ok
Check crank position sensor too - you need a diagnostics tool to see whether it's throwing a fault or not (if you're based in the northwest, I might be able to help with this), but in my experience, the three or four old ones I've come across have failed due to insulation on the three wires cracking with time/heat cycles and causing them to touch. Follow the wire from the crank sensor back to where it plugs into the loom, then pull back the rubber boot on the plug to check the wires inside.
