So I've ordered some springs from Demon tweeks, after a short wait they have arrived, how ever now I see that the box says they're for 6 cylinder cars, despite the man on the phone telling me that both of the following are the same product and for 4 cylinders before I ordered them. Can anyone confirm they are definitely 6 cyls before I send them back along with a stroppy message? :x

I have a picture of the codes on the box, can can get one of the code on springs if needed

I should mention it's a 1990 318i too sorry. anyway to narrow it down?

the ones on http://www.dcperformance.co.uk/cheap/23 ... 29663.html say they have the same spring marking as the ones mine do, but the 29663 part number not 29664

Looks like demontweeks have been buying fro ECP as that sticker is a ECP part number. Maybe worth a call the ECP?

but here

it says code 50404
Cant anyone tell me why the spring would be suitable for a 4cylinder from 1984 and not 1990? Is the M10 car that much different?

I've seen this on another forum about the springs h&r list on website for a late 318i and early.

http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showpos ... ostcount=4

Would it have any adverse effects to do this rather than swap out for the 29663 as listen on here

found this one another forum, not sure how accurate it is on spring rates but the 29663 and 29664 are identical - might phone/email H&R and see what they say
