Hi all,

I received rear arch panels for my E30 cab and they don't fit. Clevelands say they are baffled because they haven't had problems with it before and they have no alternative.

Question is, should I do some work on them to make them fit? Has anyone done this themselves before?

Any help appreciated

It says on the order form that it's for a convertible:

BMW 3 / E30 87>92 REAR WHEEL ARCH 2DR / CABRIO RH
BM0100054594
£34.65

BMW 3 / E30 87>92 REAR WHEEL ARCH 2DR / CABRIO LH
BM0100054593
£34.65

What do you mean by Dutch panel please?
Thanks

Well from what i can see havnt you got a chromie as pictured?and the panels youve got are post 87,thats a face lift cabby,so not only is the insert part wrong but allso the arch profile is wrong .it changed between pre and facelift and is the sill part deep enough?im sure if you hold it up youll see it not the same,
Sure somone will come allong and explain better,
The dutch panel bit, when i spoke to them two years ago they said they may be able to get a proper cabby press panel but it wouldtake ages and they ordered monthly and id missed it,so i decided to modify,

mmm ok, well my car is dated 1990. Are you saying that it should have a pre 1987 panel?
Thank you

Wish somone come along and give the proper facts im guessing with not half the info the zone guys know!i think there can be two dates one for manufacter and one for sale date,ie number plate.

OK thank you. I'll have a closer look at the panels when I get home from work see if it may need a pre facelift part. I'll let you know what happens!

ah haaa! We've just realised that they have actually sent me the wrong panels. I don't know what they sent me but it's not like the picture online and it isn't the right panel! Been onto them about it now and they're going to check with their supplier to see if they've got the right ones in so we'll go from there. :x

Convertibles - chromies or not - all have the post 9/87 type 'low' rear arches.
