Standard Speaker Size?

Hi All,

Hope we are well, and a Happy New Year to you all.

Can someone please tell me the diameter of an E30's original front and rear speakers please? Im wishing to put new high quality components behind the original front and rear grilles so as to preserve its original look. Can anyone suggest high end units please?

Just found in the Wiki, 13cm all round. Can anyone recommend any high end components?

Depending what you're powering them with, high end would suggest some form of amplifier, I've got Hertz DSK130 components in the front and DCX130 2 way in the rear.

Thanks for that, i didn't make myself clear really, i was just meaning good quality by high end, I'm not running an amp, just a standard mid 90s new old stock Kenwood Mask head unit / auto changer setup due to be installed (50 watts x4), I'm just wanting good quality speakers which will (presumably I'm hoping) be an improvement over my originals.
