after abit of help, i'am looking at buying a 318is it has the m-teck front and rear bumpers but no skirts is this normal? can i buy the skirts like on the 325sports? the cars a 1990 by the way. also it seems to have the plastic inserts in the bumpers is it posible to remove them and buy colour coded items? cheers.

As I understand it, standard kit on the iS was iS lip spoiler, not m-tech, no side or rear skirts and only the small boot spoiler.
Thats not to say someone did not pay extra to have them fitted...

Mine came from factory with a full mtec2 kit fitted. But the guy said it was a limited edition. Dunno. It could be possible as an optional extra maybe?

I think you're getting confused about what's M Tech and what's not.
If the front and rear bumpers have plastic inserts which aren't colour coded then they aren't M Tech bumpers.
Hammoj28, the M Tech kit was standard on all Sports and the majority of Motorsports but an option on all other models.
appletree, you can retrofit the kits, they're around Ԛ£400 second-hand. It doesn't sound like the car you're looking had is M Tech kitted though. Do you have any pics of it?

Also replica mtec kits seem to be flimsy and an awful fit if im right. Id agree with zayyan about getting a second hand one.
