:x well i noticed that my carpet was a bit damp on the front passenger side, so up it came and to my horror i was faced with a trolly jack shaped hole right in the middle of the flucking floor 8O now there is only one explination i can come up with, the only time the car has been jacked up was when it was getting the nitrous fitted by a company called XO MOTORSPORT, so the phone was in my hand, at this point i was shaking with anger and i still am, but when i phoned there was nobody there, i tryed atleast 6 times to get through but to no avail, so what do you guy's think i should do??

i know im going up there first thing in the morning, but do i let them sort it out? or do i take it up to them to show the fluckers what they have done and get someone else to fix it and send them the bill???? or should i just give him a smack in the mouth???

im more pissed off with the fact that they said nothing about it :x :x :x

i am realy realy f**ked off!!

Go up there and ask them politely about it.

If you get pissed off with them, they will tell you to fuck off and you'll get nowhere.

Shame you didn't notice right away, but that never happens.

Sounds like they're well cheeky.

Get legal advice is tomorrow doesn't go well.

Hope you get it sorted.

Try to stay calm, although I know it's easier said than done.

unless it was really rusty there before the fitment of the NOS i dont think a trolly jack could peirce the metal there. In the same place there is a dranage plug that could fallen out?

i will try to stay calm when im up there dave but, at the end of the day it's just common sence that you DONT jack a car up on the floor pan, and why the hell didn't they say anything!!!!

and yip yor right andrew it was bang on the dranage plug, it has poped out and the surrounding area is caved right up (pic's to follow) there is no way the plug will go back in now, they must of jacked the car right up for it to do that amount of dammage that it there, it starting to go rusty now as it has been done for a about a week and with the weather we'v been having, the salt alone off the road will be eating its way through the rest of the floor.

hope you get it sorted mate, tis a shame as the car was coming together nicely aswell.

:woohoo: they were actually open today

so i went it and spoke to the owner, as soon as i said that they had jacked the car up on the floor pan he just roled his eyes and and scrtched his head, saying "well they shouldnt of done that now should they...................................(fcuking sherlock holmes im dealing with here) whats the damage" damage, damage, i said
go out side and have a look under the car, fcuking hell he say's yip i said, so what you going to do about it???? and where's the lad who actually fitted the noz, he looks in the workshop quickley followed by closing the door right behind him, 2 secs later, ......he emerges erm...... the lad is not here today.. ok i said, quickley followed by so what you going to do about it then????.................... are you sure it was us who done it?? because our trolly jack has a bigger plate on the end and the marks on your car looks too small for this jack to do the damage, "giz a look at the jack".......... we went round the corner he show's me a stupidly over sized jack, and sat right next to it was a smaller jack, i said it was that fcuking jack there, i seen him using it when i droped the car off man,

ok he replys, well theres only one thing we can do, whats that i said............................ he say's well im going to have to fix it arnt i, yes you are i said, ok bring it in not this saturday but the sat after because were totaly booked up, right, but you do understand the longer you leave it the more work your going to have to do because of the rust eating thru the floor, yeah i know he mumbles,

but check this out hes going to fit a purge kit to my nitrous for FREE as way of compensation so thats a canny bonus innit

This brings back bad memories, I'm sorry if I go on I'm in the mood to rant. I bought a CRX and I wanted an alarm fiited, a local company were recommended. The afternoon of it being fitted the Shop called "Your electric roof doesn't work, we've spoken to the Honda dealer and it's going to cost a lot because there are so many motors that operate the roof, but as it was broken when it came into us we won't be taking any responsibilty" So we told them it was working when we took it in. Went to collect it, jumped in and the roof works fine, So they looked a little stupid and suggested when we brought it back in for a couple of bit's to be finished and intellistart to be fitted they would put on a few extras and do us a good deal. The car went back for the electric works and to have a new steering wheel fitted, It was only when I got in that I noticed there was a 12" crack accross the windscreen :x They had shut up and gone by this point, so the next day my Boyfriend phoned the Big Boss who came back after speaking to the manager at the shop and said it was like it when it came in!!!!!!!!!! They wouldn't take any responsibility for it at all.

i realy hate companys like this, how the hell there still in operation i dont know, with my case that was the only time the car has been worked on by someone rather than me,and i tell you, this will happen never again!!!
and with your case about the winoscreen i would of just kep on at the fcukers, because at the end of the day they caused the problem and they should of put it right, and if they dont you are left with 2 options, 1 go and see a solisotor(typo) , 2, stay there till they fix it and call the police,

or there is all ways the other option

gald you got it sorted matey, sounds like he knew he was in the wrong from the start....at least he didn't try and bulshit you too much. looks like the engine will be in pieces again when the purge kit tempts you to raise the nitrous level again.

Sorry to hear about the fcukup mate. Just glad that you were able to sort it out in the end. You delt with the stupid w@nker pretty well AND got a free purge kit out of it. Thing is though, your pride and joy has been damaged.
