Gorgeous IS, sorry to hear about the centre caps though ... Happened to my Dad twice when he had his back in the early. 90s, can still recall walking up to the car with him as a wee lad after we'd been ten pin bowling to see the missing centres... We were gutted and were at the dealer for the parts dept opening the next day , was a really common thing :-(

Thank you!
If the dealer didn't want 50 euros for each of the center i would consider it, but since im getting new wheels sometime soon, it just isn't worth it...

The car is having some problems, which are delaying some of the mods i want to do... :( It's consuming way to much fuel, 10-11l/100 (26-28 uk mpg if i'm not mistaken). I already changed the temp sensor, but it isn't better. Still a lot of things to check.

In the meanwhile i bought an is spoiler though! Can't wait to put it on

Absolutely, I agree if you are changing wheels son :-) I think they were cheaper back in the day in the early - mid 90-s when it happened twice to Dads car as it was really commonplace! Dad was so vain he didn't want anyone seeing it like that so was there at 8am the next day haha.

Sounds like you have good plans for the car - the IS will look ace :-) Not sure about the MPG as I'm not mechanically minded I'm afraid, a good service and tune up may help if you haven't lately :-)

Yeah the car was serviced and tuned recently. I'm gonna try and check common things, like tire pressure, if the wheels are spinning freely, diff, o2 sensor, etc... Let's see if i can fix this

Regarding the mpg problem i talked about:

"Hey guys, so the car is finally back from the mechanic today. It was currently doing 12.2l/100 (before mechanic). Things that were done:
-New control arms
-New bushings
-New wheel bearing for front left wheel
-Lambda sensor got cleaned up and fixed, wasn't working properly
-other sensors all around were "touched up" and overall priming of car

Things he noticed that will need fixing:
Somewhat urgent: front right shock, almost gone
Not so urgent : the catalyzer is getting a bit obstructed, not much right now but still

Also right now the alignment is fucked up, given the work he did.

So... Let's hope the fuel consumption drops! Filled a tank today, will report when I have results!"

Your car looks really nice. Much better than any of the newer models. Manual trannies are the bomb, too. Its really hard to find auto body work that can be done at reasonable prices any more. Do it yourself!

Thank you! I would do the work myself if i could, but i don't have a garage at the moment... When i change apartments i hope to start doing some of it. Not that the prices are much expensive here in Portugal, and i have a "friend" mechanic, who does me nice deals
